How To Make Perfect Traditional Shrikhand Recipe

For Curd: First, of all take a pan, put a little bit of Water, some Milk and keep it for boiling. When it starts boiling, keep it on a medium flame for a min, then turn off the flame and keep it for cooling down at room temperature. Put the extra curd in the milk and whisk it with the whisker. Cover and keep it overnight, the Curd will get ready. 

For Shrikhand: put the Curd on a vessel covered with muslin cloth then lift the cloth from the sides and tie it with a knot. Keep it in the fridge for 18-20 hours so that the excess water drains out. Transfer the hung curd to a bowl and add Fresh Milk Malai/Cream, Powdered Sugar and mix everything really well and Shrikhand is ready to serve.

For Serving: garnish this tempting shrikhand with Saffron Milk, finely chopped Dry Fruits, some Rose Petals, Silver Verk and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. In this way, Tasty and Creamy Shrikhand will get ready easily at home

  •   Sugar Powder- 5 Tbsp
  •   Milk- 1 Tbsp
  •   Saffron Strands – 8 to 10
  •   Dry Fruits- For garnishing
  •   Rose Petals – For garnishing
  •   Silver Leaf/Verk – For garnishing
