The crispy layered ring samosa is a delicious Indian appetizer that is perfect for any party or special occasion! This unique samosa is made by layering a savory potato filling inside of a crispy wonton wrapper, and then frying it until it is golden brown. The end result is a delicious and crunchy appetizer that everyone will love!

How To Make Holi Special Crispy Layered Ring Samosa Recipe

For Dough: Take a plate then put All-Purpose Flour in it then put some crushed Carom Seeds in it. Put Salt, Oil and mix it then put Water and knead the dough tightly then cover the dough with wet cloth and give it rest for 15-20 min. 

For Filling: Take a pan and put Oil in it then put Dry Whole Coriander Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Fennel Seeds, Green Chili, Peas then mash it with masher. Put the Boiled Potato, Turmeric Powder, Kashmiri Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Mango Powder, Roasted Cumin Powder, Garam Masala, Chili Flakes, Asafoetida Water and mash it properly then garnish it with Coriander Leaves and put Salt in it and the Masala is ready keep it aside. 

For Layered Samosa: Take the dough and make dough balls. Roll the dough ball and cut it from between then make cuts on one side then apply some Water and overlap it on one another. Now fill the Masala in it and give it the shape. Make all the Samosa in this way. 

For Layered Ring Samosa: Take the dough balls and roll it then fill the Masala in it and roll it tightly then make cuts on half part and roll it then make a ring and paste it with slurry. Make all the Ring Samosa in this way.

For Frying: Take a pan and put Oil for heating on slow flame then put the Samosa and fry them all on slow flame.

Layered Samosa and Layered Ring Samosa is ready now. Serve it with Curd, Green Chutney, Sweet Chutney and Spicy Red Chutney and Enjoy it.

  •   All-Purpose Flour – 3 cup
  •   Carom Seeds – some crushed
  •   Salt – as per taste 
  •   Oil – more than 1/2 cup
  •   Water – as much required 

For Filling:

  •   Oil – 2 tbsp
  •   Dry Whole Coriander Seeds 
  •   Cumin Seeds 
  •   Fennel Seeds 
  •   Green Chili 
  •   Peas – 1 cup
  •   Boiled Potato – more than 1/2 kg
  •   Turmeric Powder 
  •   Kashmiri Red Chili Powder 
  •   Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
  •   Mango Powder – 1 tbsp
  •   Roasted Cumin Powder – 1 tbsp
  •   Garam Masala – 1/2 tbsp
  •   Chili Flakes 
  •   Asafoetida Water – 1 tbsp
  •   Coriander Leaves 
  •   Salt – as per taste 
  •   Oil – for frying
