How to make Chicken Fry Masala Recipe

The very first step is, to take a wok or kadhai and heat oil in a wok, and place the shallots in it. Around 3 minutes fry the shallots on medium flame till they are a little soft. Now, add curry leaves and green chilies and continue to fry on a medium flame for another 2 minutes. Add crushed garlic and ginger, give a proper mix and continue to fry on a medium flame for 2 minutes. Now, add the boneless chicken pieces and turmeric, again give a proper mix and fry on high flame for around 2-3 minutes until the chicken is browned. Add salt, give a proper mix and cover with a lid and cook on low flame for around 15 minutes.

Ingredients For Making Hot And Spicy Masalerdar Chicken Fry Recipe

500 gms – Chicken curry cut with bones

Masala Powder:

  • Coriander Seeds- 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds- 1 tsp
  • Star Anise- 1
  • Mace (Javitri)- 1 flower 
  • Dried Red Chillies- 5-6 
  • Black Peppercorns- 1/2 tsp (around 20 nos)
  • Cloves- 5
  • Green Cardamom- 4
  • Fennel seeds (Saunf)- 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon- 1(1” piece)

Other Ingredients:

  •  Curry Leaves- 15-20 nos
  •  Oil- 3 tbsp-
  •  Green Chillies- 2-3 sliced
  •  Crushed Ginger- 2 tsp
  •  Crushed Garlic- 2 tsp
  •  Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp
  •  Shallots- 100 gms after peeling 
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves, chopped for garnish – 2 tbsp

Directions For Making Hot And Spicy Masalerdar Chicken Fry Recipe

Preparation Process:

  • First of all, soak the shallots in water for around 28-30 minutes, so that it’s easier to peel the skin of the shallots.
  • Now, take apan and dry roast all the items for the masala powder section on low flame for around 3 minutes.
  • After that, remove onto a plate and let it cool down and after completely cooled down just grind it into a fine powder and set aside for later use.
  • Now, finely chop  the coriander leaves and slicer the green chillies
