  • Chicken strips – 1 kg.
  • Full fat yogurt – 5 tbsp.
  • Black pepper – 1 tsp.
  • Red chili powder – 1 tsp.
  • Olive oil – 3 tbsp.
  • Tandoori masala – 3 tsp.
  • Ginger powder – 1 tsp.
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp.
  • Red food coloring – 1/4 tsp.
  • Garlic powder – 1 tsp.
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – 1 tsp.

Directions For Making Restaurant Style Tandoori Chicken Tikka Recipe: 

  1. The very first step is to take a mixing bowl.
  2. Now, add yogurt into this mixing bowl and add pepper, salt, chili powder, ginger powder, tandoori masala, garlic powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and red food coloring.
  3. Mix all the ingredients in the mixing bowl very nicely and make a thick paste.
  4. Now, if your mixture is too thick then add more yogurt, however, make sure the marinade is not too runny.
  5. Add chicken strips into the bowl and coat every stipe properly and nicely.
  6. After marination, keep aside this marinated chicken overnight for better and juicy results.
  7. Now take a wide pan and add oil into this pan.
  8. Heat oil in this wide pan.
  9. Now, we add the marinated chicken strips and make sure every piece of chicken touching the pan surface
  10. First 15 minutes, cook these chicken pieces on low flame and turning halfway through.
  11. When 15 minutes complete, change your flame from low to medium flame.
  12. Cook until all the water evaporated properly.
  13. When you see, oil separates from the pan sides, turn the heat up to high flame and caramelize for 2 minutes.
  14. This will add to the flavor and look.
  15. Finally, our delicious, juicy, and flavorful restaurant-style chicken tikka is ready to serve.
