UTTAPAM RECIPE – LEARN HOW TO MAKE AN INDIAN PANCAKE CALLED UTTAPAM RECIPE AT HOME WITH THIS EASY STEP-BY-STEP RECIPE.
– Quinoa – 3/4 cup – Chopped tomato – As per taste – Sago / Sabudana – 1/4 cup – Oil – 1/2 tsp for each uttapam
– Water – 3/4 cup (To soak) – Chopped Green capsicum – As per taste – Chopped coriander – As per taste – Salt – 1 & 1/2 tsp (As per taste)
1. First of all add quinoa in a bowl and add water to rinse(stir & rinse 2 or 3 times). 2. Now, in another bowl drain the water.
1. Again add sabudana in another bowl and add water to rinse 1 time. 2. After that drain the water and add rinse sabudana in a quinoa bowl and add ¾ cup of water.
1. Mix well, cover the bowl and rest and soak for 6 or 7 hours. 2. After 6-7 hours, remove the cover and mix.
1. Now, add it into the blender and blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth batter.
1. Shift the smooth batter from blender to bowl, and cover the bowl and rest. 2. Keep in a warm place(Natural fermentation time is 8-10 hours). 3. Remove the cover and you can see the smooth batter is now perfectly fermented.
1. Whisk gently for 1-2 minutes with a spatula. 2. Now, add salt and mix well again.
1. Set the pan on medium flame and sprinkle water on it and clean the pan with a paper towel. 2. Ok, now pour the flowing batter into the pan and spread the batter, making a small uttapam.
1. Place chopped tomatoes onto the uttapam as per your taste. 2. Place chopped capsicum, and chopped coriander onto the uttapam as per your taste. 3. Spread oil on the edges of the uttapam. 4. Now, gently press with a spatula. 5. Cook at low flame for 30-40 seconds.
1. Slowly flip to the opposite side with a spatula. 2. Cook again for 30-40 seconds. 3. Finally, our delicious uttapam is ready to go. Enjoy!
